JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag. C.J Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2. No notice need to be issued to respondent Nos.3 to 6, in view of the order being passed in this writ petition.
2. Both the petitioners, who are majors, claim to have submitted an application for registering their marriage under the Special Marriage Act on 14.10.2014. Petitioners submit that they have threat from the private respondents regarding their life.
3. Learned Government Pleader submits that on a complaint received from the party respondents, special enquiry was made and it was found that both the petitioners were living together. Hence, the complaint was closed.
W.P.(C) No.27092 of 2014 -: 2 :-
4. In the said circumstances, we are of the view that, the writ petitioners shall have to submit an application for police protection before the 2nd respondent. If any request is submitted by the petitioners before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent shall afford adequate and effective protection to them.
This Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
