1. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for respondents.
2. It is submitted that petitioners have applied for licence for grant of permission to run Veneer Unit but no decision has been taken by Competent Authority till date though said application is pending for almost two months.
3. Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the matter is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same may be considered and decided expeditiously.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to Competent Authority, to take a final decision in petitioners' application for grant of permission to run Veneer Unit and pass appropriate reasoned order after affording opportunity to all concerned parties within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
