The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for a writ of mandamus directing the Board of Revenue, Circuit Court, Agra, i.e., respondent no. 1 to decide Revision No. 1240 of 2019 (Om Prakash and others versus Sunil Kumar Singh and others) filed under Section 166/167 of U.P Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act, 1950.
The Board of Revenue, Circuit Court, Agra, i.e., respondent no. 1, i.e., is directed to decide the aforesaid revision expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid revision.
It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioners.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
