By order dated 26.10.2017 in Writ C No. 49545 of 2017 filed by the applicant, this Court directed Election Tribunal to decide the election petition filed by the applicant, within six months from the date of production of certified copy of the order.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the evidence of the applicant is being recorded. It is yet not complete.
In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to hold the Election Tribunal in contempt of the order of this Court at this stage.
The contempt application is dismissed at this stage.
