JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Petitioner's Writ Petition No.27189 (S/S) of 2016 was allowed by the writ-Court vide judgment and order dated 25.09.2018, setting-aside the punishment order dated 26.04.2016 published on 18.05.2016 in Hindi News daily. The Committee of Management, Swatantra Bharat Inter College, Tulsipur, District Balrampur was directed to reinstate the petitioner in service forthwith with all consequential service benefits, including full back-wages w.e.f. 26.04.2016 and he be also paid the arrears of the subsistence allowance with expedition, say within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of the order.
2. Pursuant to aforesaid judgment and order dated 25.09.2018, the petitioner has been reinstated in service and he has been getting the curring salary. The only question, which remains, is with respect to payment of back-wages, as directed by this Court.
3. Mr. Vinayak Saxena, learned Standing Counsel, representing contemnor-respondents, has tendered an affidavit of Mr. Vinay Kumar Pandey, Director, Secondary Education, U.P., Lucknow today in the Court, which is taken on record.
In paragraph-8 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that some discrepancies were to be removed and the same have been removed. The matter regarding payment of back-wages is being pursued at the Directorate level and payment of back-wages will be made to the petitioner within a short span of time.
4. Mr. Vinayak Saxena, learned Standing Counsel, submits that within two weeks the back-wages, as directed by this Court, shall be paid to the petitioner.
5. In view of the aforesaid undertaking and submission of the learned Standing Counsel representing the contemnor-respondents in respect of payment of back-wages to the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this contempt petition with liberty to the petitioner that if payment of the back-wages is not made to him within two weeks from today, he may move a proper application to revive this contempt petition.
6. Ordered accordingly.
