[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.44/BM/2016(E1) dated 19.12.2016, whereby the detenu, namely M.Auto Sadam @ Sadam Hussain, S/o (Late) Mohamed Rafiq, aged about 25 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 18.08.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.24, COOPERATION, FOOD AND CONSUMER PROTECTION (E1) DEPARTMENT, dated 10.02.2017 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
