Mr. Raval, Ld. APP for the respondent- State, upon instructions being received from ACP, B Division, Vadodara City, states that pursuant to the earlier direction dated 19/1/2012 issued by this Court, detailed further statement of the petitioner original complainant has been recorded on 22/1/2012 and pursuant to his further statement, the investigation is going on. Mr. Pandya, Ld. Advocate for the applicant submitted that at the first instance, the Investigating Officer [IO] has to collect immediately the phone details and thereafter to record statements of the witnesses, whose names are reflected in the further statement of the petitioner and the names that may come during the course of investigation.
Mr. Raval, Ld. APP for the respondent State submitted that appropriate care shall be taken by the concerned IO who is undertaking the exercise of investigation of this matter and it is submitted that some time may be granted. Hence, S O to 01/03/2012.
Further progress report shall be produced on that date.
