JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 58
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 14773 of 2018 Petitioner :- Dharmendra Singh And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Seemant Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J.
Following orders were passed in the matter on 16.07.2018:-
"Grievance is that though petitioners have scored marks above the cut off in their respective category but they have been erroneously shown not to be selected.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions in the matter. Put up as fresh on 23.7.2018"
Learned standing counsel has obtained instructions, according to which, petitioner no. 1 has incorrectly feeded his marks obtained in High School and Intermediate examinations. It appears that petitioner no. 1 has scored 71.17% marks in High School and 80.4% marks in Intermediate, according to which, his total mark worked out to be 393.87; whereas, cut off marks in the respective category is 397.6 for the U.P. Police and 396 for PAC.
So far as petitioner no. 2 is concerned, it is shown that petitioner no. 2 has secured 407.97 marks; whereas, the cut off mark in the respective category is above 410.
Copy of the instructions, in that regard, has been furnished to the counsel for the petitioner today in Court.
In view of the fact that both the petitioners failed to secure marks above cut off in the respective category, no exception can be taken if they have not been selected.
The writ petition is dismissed, accordingly.
