1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner claims to have filed an application for issue of fire arm license under family heirloom category. While the said application is pending since 2015, at present, Arms Rules 2016 have been enforced and the rights of the parties are to be governed under those Rules.
3. However, it is left open to the petitioner to make a fresh application under Arms Rules, 2016. If such application is filed with a period of two weeks from today, along with certified copy of this order, the same may be dealt with and decided in accordance with law, keeping in mind the timelines provided under the Arms Rules, 2016.
5. With the aforesaid observation, the present petition is disposed of.
