Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Siddharth Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The only grievance of the petitioner is that his appeal No.20181600000000 of 2018 (Bhola Nath Yadav vs. District Supply Officer, Mirzapur) under Clause-28 (3) of Scheduled Commodities (Distribution) Order, 2004 is pending before respondent but the same has not been decided so far.
Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the appeal is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent no.2 to consider and decide petitioner's aforesaid appeal by a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
