Following orders were passed in the matter on 16.07.2018:-
"It is stated that petitioner has scored marks above the cut off in the respective category.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions. Post as fresh on 23rd July, 2018. "
Learned standing counsel has obtained instructions, according to which, the petitioner has been declared as not qualified in the physical standard test; in as much as, the petitioner's height has been found to be 167 c.m.; whereas, the minimum height required is 168 c.m.
In such circumstances, no infirmity is shown in the action of the respondents. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
