The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus commanding Commissioner, Basti Division, Basti (respondent -2 ) to decide Arms Appeal No. 256 of 2018 (Dharmendra Kumar Singh Vs. State of UP) under Section 18 of Arms Act, 1959, expeditiously.
Without entering into the controversy involved in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to Commissioner, Basti Division, Basti (respondent -2 ) to decide Arms Appeal No. 256 of 2018 (Dharmendra Kumar Singh Vs. State of UP) under Section 18 of Arms Act, 1959, expeditiously, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, preferably within a period of four months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the concerned authority.
