Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and Shri Neeraj Upadhyaya, the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel.
On the last occasion the Court had noted that an order had been passed on 17.01.2018 dealing with the claim of the applicant and deciding the same on merits.
The only issue which remained was the unexplained delay in compliance with the order passed by the writ Court.
From the explanation set-forth in paragraph nos. 6 to 11, the Court finds that a cogent explanation has been proffered which is accepted.
However, the opposite party is cautioned to ensure that in future the directions of the High Court are disposed of and attended to with expedition and to ensure that orders are complied with in accordance with the directions issued.
The contempt petition is disposed of.
Notices stand discharged.
