1. Heard Sri Muktesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents No.1 and 2. Notice need not be issued to respondents No. 3 and 4 at this stage.
2. The only relief sought in the writ petition is that Restoration Application No.T202114360601576 in Mutation Case No.0T2017143658061247 of 2017 under Section 34 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 pending since 19.01.2018 before Tehsildar, Tehsil Mariyanhu, District Jaunpur, respondent no.2, be directed to be decided expeditiously.
3. Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the aforesaid restoration application is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same will be considered and decided expeditiously.
4. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for counter affidavit, as such, respondent No.2 is directed to decide the aforesaid restoration application, expeditiously, in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment in deciding the same, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order downloaded from the website of the High Court, after hearing all the parties concerned.
5. Writ petition stands disposed of.
