1. The present application is filed by the convict seeking extension of temporary bail granted by this Court by order dated 18.05.2012. The convict-party-in-person is present before the Court and states that the process of getting the house vacated from the tenant, so as to hand over vacant and peaceful possession to the purchaser, is in progress and it is likely to take some time. The convict states that in his absence, this will not be possible and the entire transaction of sale of property will get frustrated.
2. RULE.
Mr.H.K.Patel, learned Additional Public Prosecutor waives service of Rule on behalf of the respondent-State.
3. For the contents of the application, the same is allowed. The temporary bail is extended for a period of 20 days from the date of expiry of the earlier temporary bail period.
4. The convict shall surrender to the Jail authorities on expiry of the temporary bail period.
5. Rule is made absolute.
Registry is directed to communicate this order by fax to the jail authorities immediately (today).
A copy of this order be also made available to learned APP Mr.Patel for its onward communication.
