Petitioner's husband was employed in the respondent Kanpur Electricity Supply Company and he attained the age of superannuation on 30.6.2018. The employee concerned has also died on 23.11.2018. This petition has now been filed by widow of the deceased employee stating that family pension, provident fund and other retiral dues payable to petitioner's husband have not been released, so far.
Sri Komal Mehrotra, appearing for the respondents states that the amount of gratuity and leave encashment have already been paid and that the claim for release of family pension is under active consideration. It is stated that the amount of family pension together with arrears will be paid shortly.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of by directing the respondents to act in terms of the undertaking given and to ensure that amount of family pension alongwith arrears is paid to petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. Petitioner shall also be at liberty to point out any other withheld amount which according to her is due and payableand such claim would also be got enquired into and if the amount is liable to be paid in that heads, the same shall also be paid within the same period.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
