O R D E R The petitioner filed the present writ petition to issue Writ of Certiorari and quash the impugned order dated 25.05.2015 at Annexure – C passed by the District Caste Verification Committee, Mysuru district-respondent No.1.
2. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that the very writ petition filed is not maintainable and petitioner has got an alternative efficacy remedy of appeal before the Commissioner/Director for Social Welfare under Section 4D-Appeal of the Karnataka Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes (Reservation of Appointment) etc., Act, 1990 (‘the Act’ for short).
3. The said submission is placed on record.
4. In view of the above, writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable, with liberty to the petitioner to avail an alternative remedy of appeal as contemplated under the Act and in accordance with law.
Petitioner is also permitted to file necessary application for condonation of delay for the time spent before this Court.
