Heard learned APP for the respondent-State.

The petitioner, a life convict and having dubious jail record of remaining unauthorisedly absent on two different occasions namely, 4748 days in the year 2004 and subsequently for about 1265 days in the year 2011 and having unsatisfactory jail record seeks parole on the ground of obsequies ceremony of immersion of ashes of his son who died on 19.3.2012. Earlier, the petitioner was permitted to attend funeral and other ritual of his son with escort, do not deserve any relief from this Court and accordingly, the petition is rejected.
