Heard Sri Siddarth Jaiswal, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents No.1 to 3.
This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:
"issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the revenue authorities to decide the application of the petitioner u/s 24 of U.P. Revenue Code and demarcate the land of petitioner on the cost of petition subject to the pending decision to the instant writ petition."
It is contended by counsel for the petitioner that proceedings for demarcation is pending before respondent No.3 since 13.08.2019. The sole prayer is for early disposal of the aforesaid proceedings.
As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, with the consent of the parties, the matter is being disposed of at this stage without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no. 3 to conclude the proceedings of aforesaid case, if there is no legal impediment, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law by reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of copy of this order, downloaded from the official website of Allahabad High Court.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
