JUDGMENT / ORDER

The limited prayer made in this Criminal Original Petition is for a direction to the Trial Court for early disposal of the case in S.T.C.No. 28 of 2016, by expediting the trial.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though this petition is filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate-I, R.MAHADEVAN, J.
KM Krishnagiri, now the case is pending only before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Krishnagiri.
3. Considering the limited prayer, without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the Judicial Magistrate-II, Krishnagiri to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.28 of 2016 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
