Heard the counsel for the parties.
It has been stated by the counsel for the petitioner that her application dated 18.10.2019 for grant of maternity leave in accordance with law and specifically in accordance with the judgment dated 19.4.2019 passed by this Court in Writ - A No. 3486 of 2019 is still pending before the respondent no. 3, i.e., the District Basic Education Officer, Shahjahanpur.
Without entering into the merits of the case, the District Basic Education Officer, Shahjahanpur, i.e., respondent no. 3 is directed to decide the aforesaid application within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid application.
It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim as raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
