When the case was taken up on 12.9.2018, Court has passed following order;
"The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners for declaration of result for the post of Cadre Secretaries in District Agra within stipulated period of time.
Vide earlier order of this Court dated 14.8.2018, ten days time was granted to learned counsel for the respondents to seek instructions in the matter. In this regard, learned Standing Counsel has produced a letter dated 20.8.2018 addressed to the Chief Standing Counsel, which is taken on record. According to that letter, it is stated that a meeting of Selection Committee, Agra was proposed to be convened on 5.9.2018 with regard to take decision in the matter of declaration of result. Now date is over and certainly decision for declaration of result would have been taken in the meeting dated 5.9.2018.
Learned Standing Counsel prays for and is granted one week further time to seek instructions regarding decision taken with regard to declaration of result for the post of Cadre Secretaries in District Agra.
Put up on 19.9.2018 in the additional cause list."
Pursuant to order dated 12.9.2018, learned Standing Counsel has informed that he has received instructions and the result in question has already been declared on 12.09.2018. In support thereof, he has also produced photocopy of result today in Court, which is taken on record.
In view of above statement made by learned Standing Counsel, no cause of action servives. The petition is dismissed as infructuous.
