Petitioner has approached this Court with the grievance that admitted dues payable to him in his capacity as retainer of District Legal Services Authorities have not been paid.
After hearing the matter on 2.12.2021, we adjourned the petition by two weeks by observing as under:-
"Let this matter be listed after two weeks, in order to enable learned counsel for the respondents to examine petitioner's claim so that any amount found due and payable to petitioner is not kept pending any further.
Post as fresh on 17.12.2021."
When the matter is taken up today, Ms. Pooja Agrawal for the respondent states that claim of petitioner has already been examined by the Legal Services Authorities and a cheque of Rs.1,08,000/- to this effect has also been delivered to petitioner on 16.12.2021.
In that view of the matter, we find that petitioner's grievance has been redressed. Writ petition, accordingly, is consigned to records.
In the event any further claim survives, the petitioner may furnish details and the authority concerned shall examine the same.
