1. The contemptor-applicant, herein, who is party-in-person, wrote a letter, dated 16th August, 2012, to the Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, wherein he has pointed out that in spite of directions issued by this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous Application No.11750 of 2008 vide order dated 8th April, 2011, to separate all these matters and to give them separate numbers for preparation and motion of service, the same is not complied with by the office.
2. The letter dated 16th August, 2012, is taken on the record of the case. The registry may offer its comment in regard to the aforesaid letter.
3. At this stage, it is brought to the notice of this Court that all the matters have been separated and they have been given separate numbers, as per the direction of this Court, as contained in order dated 8th April, 2011.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the contemptor is not present. Since, these matters pertain to the contempt proceedings, the presence of the alleged contemptor is necessary. It is unfortunate that in spite of the order of this Court dated 20th July, 2012, the alleged contemptor has not remained present before this Court, today.
5. Under the circumstance, the matter is adjourned to 12TH SEPTEMBER, 2012. The alleged contemptor is directed to remain personally present before this Court at 11:00 A.M., on 12.09.2012. In spite of this order, if the alleged contemptor fails to remain present before this Court, appropriate orders shall be passed to secure his presence.
6. Registry is directed to SERVE a copy of this order on the alleged contemptor-applicant, FORTHWITH.
