THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Sri Ajith Anand Shetty, learned counsel for petitioner.
Sri Y.D. Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
The writ petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
2. In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner inter alia seeks a direction to respondent No.2 to expedite the investigation of the complaint which has been submitted by the petitioner contained in Annexures-A and B.
3. When the matter was taken up for consideration today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority to expedite the investigation of the complaint submitted by the petitioner in a time bound manner.
4. On the other hand, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents submits that suitable action in accordance with law shall be taken to expedite the investigation of the complaint submitted by the petitioner.
5. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to expeditiously conclude the investigation of the complaint submitted by the petitioner preferably within a period of four months by a speaking order in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
