The only prayer made by Sri Dadhi Bal Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the application for scrutiny of the answer books of the petitioner in the subject of Sanskrit-I, II, Chemistry I, II, Physics I, II, and Mathematics I, II, may be decided within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that scrutiny of only two answer books is permissible.
It is open to the petitioner to give his options of two subjects before the respondent no. 3 in which he desires the scrutiny to be made.
The respondent no. 3, Additional Secretary, Intermediate Education Board, Regional Office, Varanasi, shall decide the application for scrutiny of the answer books submitted by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law and in terms of the relevant provisions and bye-laws. The result of the petitioner after scrutiny of answer sheets shall be declared within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of finally.
