JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to provide Electricity Service connection to the petitioner's Travellers Bungalow is situated in T.S.No.9, Block 5, Ward A, Devakkottai Town, Sivagangai District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.E.P.Venkadeshwar for Mr.S.M.S.Johny Basha, learned Standing Counsel for T.N.E.B., takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel for the respondents under instructions submit that the respondents are prepared to provide Electricity Service Connection to the petitioner, upon the petitioner executing Indemnity Bond, as required under Clause 27(4) of Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection for executing the Indemnity Bond.
6. Hence, the Writ petition is disposed of with the following direction:-
?The petitioner is directed to execute Indemnity Bond as required by the Electricity Department, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon execution of such Bond by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to provide Electricity Service Connection to the petitioner's Travellers Bungalow, situated in T.S.No.9, Block 5, Ward A, Devakkottai Town, Sivagangai District, within a period of two weeks thereafter.?
No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
