JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner retired from the service of the 1st respondent on 31.12.2013 as sanitary worker on her attaining the age of superannuation. Ventilating her grievance that so far her retirements benefits have not been paid, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. The respondent Employer, having filed its statement substantially admitting the claim of the petitioner, has however stated that owing to certain procedural bottlenecks, there is delay in settling the terminal benefits due to the W.P.(C.) No.30009/2014 -2-
petitioner.
4. This Court is of the opinion that there is no issue to be adjudicated upon, inasmuch as the claim of the petitioner stands admitted by the respondents.
In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent Corporation, the employer, to hasten the process of settling the retirement benefits of the petitioner and pay the same as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. No order as to costs.
