In this matter, learned advocate for the petitioner has invited this Court's attention to the observation made by the revisional authority i.e. office of the Government of India in respect of the competence of Collector in imposing the penalty and also to the fact that the notice for hearing was received after the date of hearing and despite that the concerned authority has mentioned that there is compliance which prima facie appears to be incorrect.
Learned AGP, on advance copy, submits that let there be a short notice. Accordingly, notice returnable on 25.04.2012, as other similar matters are coming on the same date.
Direct service today, is permitted.
