JUDGMENT Learned counsel for the respondent submits that a memo has been filed seeking permission of this Court to withdraw W.P.No.18118/2007 out of which this appeal arises, as the respondent has accepted the penalty of compulsory retirement and does not intend to assail the same. A memo is also filed in that regard.
Memo is taken on record and perused.
Permission is granted to the respondent to withdraw W.P.No.18118/2007. Consequently, the above said writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
In the result, the appeal is rendered infructuous and is hence dismissed.
