Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
From a perusal of the material placed on the record it appears that the claim of the petitioner for arrears alongwith interest is pending scrutiny before the respondents as per the communication dated 27 October 2018 (Annexure-4 to the writ petition).
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the claim of the petitioner which is pending consideration shall be duly evaluated and a final decision communicated to the petitioner in this respect within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order alongwith a representation which the petitioner may make in this regard.
Accordingly and without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
