The husband has filed O.P. No. 83/2014 on the file of the Family Court of Ottappalam for dissolution of marriage. The wife has filed M.C.No. 147/2014 on the file of the Family Court, Tirur for maintenance. Both the cases have to be jointly tried since the issues are intertwined.
2. It is a virtual impossibility for the wife to travel all the way from Tirur to Ottappalam for the conduct of the case. This is especially so since the she has to look after the minor child born in the wedlock. It may only be a slight inconvenience for the husband to travel from Pattambi to Tirur for this purpose.
3. I therefore order transfer of O.P. No. 83/2014 from the Family Court, Ottappalam to the Family Court, Tirur. The Transferee Court shall issue notice to the parties and take the proceedings to a logical end soon.
The Transfer Petition is allowed.
