JUDGMENT / ORDER

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of C.P.C. seeking to have O.P.No. 228/2014 pending before the Family Court, Alappuzha to the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram transferred.
2. Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigation began.
3. The respondent initiated O.P.No. 228/2014 for divorce before the Family Court, Alappuzha. It is pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner that at the time of marriage, the petitioner was working as Assistant Lecturer in Piravom Tech Engineering College. The petitioner narrates in detail about the family life between the petitioner and the respondent a reproduction of which is not necessary for the purpose of disposal of this petition. The petitioner currently Tr.P.(C) No. 531 of 2014 -2-
stays with her parents and she finds it extremely difficult to come over to Alappuzha to attend the posting of the case. She says that she has financial difficulties and she has nobody to accompany her to Alappuzha. Hence she prays that the case may be transferred to Thiruvananthapuram.
4. Notice was served on the respondent.
5. After having heard the learned counsel on both sides and after having given anxious consideration to various aspects, it is felt that it is only appropriate to grant relief to the petitioner.
In the result, this petition is allowed and the O.P.No. 228/2014 pending before the Family Court, Alappuzha shall stand transferred to the Family Court,Thiruvananthapuram.
