The petitioner, which is an educational Institution has filed the instant writ petition seeking a mandamus commanding the respondents to sanction and pay scholarship and fee- reimbursement amount of certain scheduled caste category candidates of B.Ed. course of Academic Year 2016-17. The specific case of the petitioner is that in respect of these students who are 27 in number, the scholarship/fee-reimbursement has already been made good for Academic Year 2017-18.
Learned standing counsel states that respondent No. 2 would examine the grievance of the petitioner.
Accordingly, without entering into merits, the instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner Institution to approach the second respondent with a certified copy of this order and a fresh representation. In the event any such representation is made, the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same by means of a speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of next twelve weeks.
