Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition challenges an order dated 04 March 2016 in terms of which a claim for appointment on compassionate grounds has been negatived.
The claim itself arose since according to the petitioner his father died on 14 October 2011 while in service. There is no explanation for the evident and inordinate laches from which this petition suffers. Even otherwise and bearing in mind that the claim for appointment on compassionate grounds is raised with respect to a death which occurred in 2011, this Court finds no ground to issue the writs as prayed for bearing in mind the principles laid down by the Full Bench of the Court in Shiv Kumar Dubey and Others Vs. State of U.P. 2014(2) ADJ 312. The writ petition is dismissed.
