Heard Mr V K Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr Ravindra Singh, learned counsel for the respondent 2-Corporation.
The primary prayer made in the instant writ petition, reads thus:
"i) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities as well as state authority to take an appropriate action and pass an appropriate order on the representation/application of petitioner with regard to opening and running the Chhata Sugar Mill Ltd., Chhata Mathura strictly in accordance with law within a period to be specified by this Hon'ble Court.”
We have perused the letter of the Government dated 24.10.2017 (Annexure-1) addressed to the Managing Director, U P State Sugar Corporation Ltd. By this letter, the Government has directed the Managing Director of the Corporation, to examine the feasibility to establish new Sugar Mill in the place of existing Sugar Mill. In view thereof, counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to the Managing Director, U P State Sugar Corporation Ltd. and the Government to expedite the consideration.
The writ petition is disposed of, with the observation that the Managing Director and the State Government, shall expedite consideration of establishing new Sugar Mill in the place of existing Sugar Mill.
