Case :- WRIT - B No. - 206 of 2019 Petitioner :- Deep Narain Respondent :- Deputy Director Of Consolidation And 8 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Brijesh Chandra Naik Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Achchhey Lal Tiwari
Hon'ble Anjani Kumar Mishra,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Achchhey Lal Tiwari, who has filed caveat on behalf of respondent nos.2/1 to 3.
The instant petition is directed against an order dated 15.12.2018, whereby the Deputy Director of Consolidation has held that a revision directed against an order of remand passed by the Settlement Officer Consolidation is maintainable.
The order impugned is in consonance with the Division Bench decision of this Court in Deena Nath and others Vs. Deputy Director of Consolidation, 2010 (7) ADJ 533.
Under the circumstances, the order impugned being in consonance with the Division Bench decision of this Court, the writ petition is necessarily without merit and is dismissed.
After the above order was dictated in open Court, counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued for expeditious disposal of a revision that has been held to be maintainable.
The Deputy Director of Consolidation is directed to decide the revision as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.
