Heard Sri Sudhir Kumar (Chandraul), learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Vinod Kant, learned Additional Advocate General alongwith Sri Arvind Kumar, learned A.G.A. for the State respondents through video link.
Pursuant to the rule nisi issued earlier, the petitioner no. 1 has been produced in Court by the respondent no. 6 (her father). As proof of her identity, she has brought her adhaar card, a self- attested copy whereof is taken on record. The petitioner no. 1 and the respondent no. 6 have identified themselves by putting their signatures on the order sheet.
On a query, the petitioner no. 1 has stated that she has an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and has also completed her D.L.Ed. course. She has stated her date of birth to be 30.6.1995. She has further stated that she was forced into a marriage by the petitioner no. 2 against her will. On a specific query she has expressed her desire to go back to her parental home alongwith the respondent no. 6 (her father).
Having regard to the aforesaid, there is no reason to make the rule nisi absolute. It is accordingly discharged.
The petitioner no. 1 is at liberty to go alongwith the respondent no. 6 (her father), wherever she may desire.
The petition stands dismissed, accordingly.
