This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner for renovating the well in his land, situates in Kokilapuram Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, based on his application dated 20.06.2016, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3.The petitioner made an application dated 20.06.2016, to the respondent for grant of permission for renovating the well situates in his land.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the application of the petitioner dated 20.06.2016, is disposed of by the respondent as per law.
5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 20.06.2016, and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
