JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner had submitted Ext.P2 application before the first respondent for renewal of his licence under the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1967. By virtue of a direction issued by this Court the Geologist referred the matter to the District Collector and Police Department for getting necessary no objection. Both these authorities had reported that they have no objection in permitting the renewal of licence. Still, the first respondent did not pass orders, is the complaint of the petitioner. 2. Having regard the nature of contentions, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of as under:
The first respondent shall consider Ext.P2 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
