JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader Counsel takes notice for the respondent and by consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to effect mutation of revenue records including Town Survey Land Register in respect of Survey Field No.29, Old Survey No.24, Block No.26, measuring an extent of 7 ares and 62 sq.mtrs situated at Virugambakakm, Mambalam Taluk, Chennai District, in his favour and other legal representatives through M.Dhanaraj, by considering his representation.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation on 23.08.2017 to the respondent, however, the respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within four weeks' time.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
