Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
It is contended that consequent to the petitioner being selected and appointed as Principal of the institution concerned, the District Inspector of Schools has passed an order dated 22 April 2020 requiring her to submit various documents and papers for verification. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the information so required was duly submitted on 26 May 2020. It is however contended that her salary is not being released.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fifth respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the claim as laid shall be duly evaluated and a final decision communicated with expedition and preferably within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition and its enclosures.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement, which is noted and recorded above.
