ORDER:
Petitioners state that though they are prepared to pay tax and offered demand drafts, respondent No.3, Regional Transport Officer, is not accepting the demand drafts nor is accepting the application of the petitioners offering to pay quarterly tax relating vehicles bearing Nos.AP 28 TB 8179 and AP 28 TE 3355.
2. Though the petitioners have filed xerox copies of the demand drafts, there is no application on record. In the absence of any application, the request of the petitioners cannot be considered. Hence, petitioners are granted liberty to make appropriate application before respondents 3 and 4 by sending it by Registered Post Acknowledgement Due so as to enable respondents 3 and 4 to pass appropriate orders on the said application.
With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
