Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a direction commanding the respondents to grant post retiral benefits including pension and 40% back wages to the petitioners having regard to judgement of Supreme Court dated 9.9.2015 in Civil Appeal No.9165-9172 of 2009.
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the representation filed by the petitioners in this regard dated 01.11.2018 is still pending before the respondents and same may be directed to be decided within a time frame to which learned standing counsel has no objection.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.1 to decide the representation dated 01.11.2018 having regard to the judgement of the Supreme Court within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order alongwith photostat copy of the representation. However, it is open for the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with certified copy of this order.
