The 2nd respondent is absent in spite of notice. It is reported by the 1st respondent that investigation is already over, and that final report has been filed in court on 24.09.2014. In such a circumstance, the writ petition can be closed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to seek appropriate relief possible under the law as regards the final report. In the result, this petition is closed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to seek appropriate remedies possible under the law as regards the final report submitted in crime No. 73/2014 of the Chavara Police Station.
