1. Petitioners are belonging to different religions and claimed to have got married after due conversion of one of them. Therefore, they are required to give declaration as required under U.P. Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act, 2021.
2. Learned counsel for petitioners, after arguing fro some time, on instructions submits that he does not want to press the prayers and seeks liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings under U.P. Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act, 2021 for giving declaration as required under the Act and also to approach the appropriate authority with the prayer to give protection to petitioners in view of Government Orders dated 31st August, 2019 and 05th September, 2019.
3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for State-Respondents, has no objection to aforesaid request.
4. The writ petition is accordingly, disposed of with liberty, as prayed for.
