The sole grievance expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that since no time limit was fixed by this Court while passing the order dated 8.8.2017 directing the District Level Committee to decide the representation of the petitioner for grant of security, no orders have been passed even though the representation was made on 25.8.2017.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that by keeping the application for grant of security pending, the purpose itself is being frustrated.
Considering the facts, we dispose of this petition by providing that the District Level Committee where the application made by the petitioner is pending, shall proceed to consider and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
