[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, praying to punish the respondents since they failed to obey the direction passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.11898 of 2014.
2.It is seen from the records that on the basis of report submitted by the concerned District Collector, W.P(MD)No.11898 of 2014 has been disposed of. On the basis of the order passed in W.P(MD)No.11898 of 2014, the present contempt petition has been filed.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent has submitted the report of the concerned Tahsildar, wherein it has been clearly stated that the encroachments made in Survey No.157/2 have already been removed.
4.Considering the fact that in pursuance of the order passed by this Court, the alleged encroachments have already been removed, the relief sought in the present contempt petition cannot be granted.
5.In fine, this contempt petition is dismissed. No costs.
