Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing counsel.
The submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the land of the petitioners has been utilized by the respondents without acquiring it and without their consent.The petitioners have also not been paid any compensation.
The petitioners have applied for payment of compensation in accordance with the Government Order dated 19.3.2015 vide representations dated 10.10.2017 and 17.4.2018 but till date no decision has been taken.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition with the direction to respondent no. 2, District Magistrate to take appropriate action in accordance with the aforesaid Government Order on the aforesaid representation as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months.
The petition is disposed of.
