O R D E R This is a writ petition alleging that near relations of the elected members of the Zilla Panchayat, Yadgir, are participating in the discussions of the Zilla Panchayat, although, they have no status.
2. Mr.R.Devdas, learned principal government advocate, appears for the respondent Nos.1 and 3. He draws our attention to a circular dated September 19, 2016, indicating that there is no provision for participation of the husbands and the relatives of the elected members of the Grama Panchayat.
3. We, therefore, dispose of this writ petition by holding that the persons, who are not elected as the members of the Grama Panchayat or the Zilla Panchayat, shall not attend the meetings of the Grama Panchayat or the Zilla Panchayat.
4. We make no order as to costs.
